One project, two atmospheres. An intimate refuge and an architectural lounge come to life thanks to our collections, in a perfect dialogue between minimalist rigor and material comfort.

Hidden in the heart of the Black Forest, the “Black Villa” of Baden-Baden is a masterpiece of contemporary architecture, a place of contrasts where dark wood and concrete walls meet wild nature. Furnishing these spaces meant interpreting two different souls of modern living.

The Intimate Soul: Rigor and Warmth

In the first living area, dominated by dark wood paneling and overlooking a suggestive landscape, we created an atmosphere of a luxury refuge.

  • CUT Collection: The CUT sofas and “daybeds” define the space. With their ultra-minimalist design and pure forms, in cognac leather and grey fabric versions, they create relaxation platforms suspended between rigor and comfort.
  • MIAMI Armchairs: As a counterpoint, the MIAMI armchairs introduce the warmth of wood and an elegance with modernist references, balancing the composition.
  • BRIDGE Coffee Tables: The BRIDGE coffee tables, with their airy metal and glass structure, lend a touch of light and lightness to the entire setting.

The Architectural Soul: Light and Comfort

The second living area opens up into a spectacular volume, where exposed concrete and light are the protagonists. Here, comfort becomes sculptural.
  • SQUARE Collection: The SQUARE modular sofa dominates the scene. Chosen in a large corner configuration and upholstered in a light, textural fabric, it presents itself as a true “island” of softness that dialogues with the monumentality of the space.
  • HOLLY Armchairs: The HOLLY armchairs, with their refined Canaletto walnut structure and hand-woven natural leather backrest, add a touch of naturalness and artisanal wisdom.
From the intimacy of rigor to the comfort of light, the Black Villa demonstrates Rivolta’s sartorial ability to be the sole interlocutor for complex projects, creating unique and tailor-made atmospheres.
