Nestled in the quiet and mild climate of the countryside surrounding Geneva, a residence stands that redefines the concept of contemporary luxury through pure lines and fluid spaces. Named “Timeless”, this interior project—curated entirely by the Rivolta team—is a manifesto of artistic minimalism, where every piece of furniture is designed to dialogue with time and welcome daily life into an enveloping comfort.
Architecture of Light and Visual Continuity
The architectural structure of the house is distinguished by its characteristic pitched ceiling clad in warm wood, a design choice that emphasizes height and infuses an immediate sense of domestic warmth. Immersive, full-height floor-to-ceiling windows visually eliminate boundaries, capturing the external natural scenery and transforming it into a shifting backdrop that enriches the interior color palette.
Within this scenario, the spaces appear simple and meticulously organized. There are no rigid barriers: the environment evolves fluidly to accommodate the multifunctionality of modern living, inviting sharing and togetherness.
Sartorial Comfort: Rivolta Collections Take Center Stage
The Rivolta design team selected furnishings capable of balancing weights and volumes, alternating neutral, desaturated nuances with vibrant tactile touches.
- The Monumental Living Area (ROGER Model): Standing out at the center of the large living space is the ROGER sofa, presented here in a refined linear configuration in powder white (bianco polvere) with sleek metal feet. With its generous cushions, ROGER embodies a promise of informal yet rigorous relaxation. Complementing it are the geometric lines of the PUFFO footstools and the sculptural silhouettes of the SELENE swivel armchairs in ochre yellow (giallo ocra) velvet, which warm the environment like accents of pure light.
- The Island of Intimate Relaxation (ALYSE Model): In a second interpretation of the space, the scene is dominated by the ALYSE sofa upholstered in an elegant ‘Orione’ blue (azzurro Orione) nubuck leather. Characterized by a generous depth, ALYSE invites absolute relaxation. The same collection defines the small tub armchairs in the conversation area: a masterpiece of balance between fullness and lightness, embellished with sartorial vertical stitching that lends rhythm and elegance to the textured fabric.
- Styling Details: The interaction between the different elements is rhythmically paced by the TOLOMEO coffee tables, which offer functional surfaces with a rigorous design through their slim tops in stone and white Calacatta marble. Finally, for a touch of absolute compositional freedom, the large, soft RONDO poufs in powder white leather add a playful dynamism to the interior.
